Goals

• Provide a forum for agencies and individuals, both public and private, to share information and resources related to prevention, treatment, and positive youth development.
• Present the annual Showcase of Community Resources to educate the public and increase the awareness of prevention, intervention and treatment programs and services.
• Coordinate county-wide prevention and positive youth development efforts.
• Encourage local school/community cooperation in networking.
• Promote multiple-agency collaboration toward innovative prevention ideas.
• Inform membership of regional, state, and national prevention planning and training efforts.
• Provide advocacy for legislative support.
• Provide funding for prevention and youth development projects.
• Reflect and fulfill the policies of the Orange County Substance Abuse Prevention Network Executive Committee.
