What We Do
The mission of the Orange County Substance Abuse Prevention Network (OCSAPN) is to promote and enhance the quality, quantity, coordination, and cooperation of prevention services in Orange County.
Members come together to share events, spotlight their services, and discuss lessons learned while working in the field of prevention.
OCSAPN also hosts one of the largest prevention and treatment events of the year in Orange County, the Annual OCSAPN Conference.
The Executive Committee provides funding of up to $250 to sponsor or provide scholarships for prevention-related events.
Our member agencies address a number of closely related issues that place our youth, families and communities at risk, including substance abuse, domestic violence, teen pregnancy, eating disorders, gun violence, mental illness and many others. We believe that by collaborating and combining strengths, we become a stronger and more effective force.
